The Four Corners Business Model:
1. We are not paid for signing up new people. We are paid commissions on product purchases. When someone first joins the business, for example, $10 goes to buy level 1 books, and a portion of that $10 is paid out as commissions.
2. There is no payment if no product is purchased.
3. Each product purchase pays two people. The qualified payee as Instant Commission and the payee's sponsor as Matching Commission.
4. Each product pays back 80% commision to affiliates (us), and 20% is retained by the company as its profit.
Therefore, the company does not get its money to pay people; people are paid from the income generated from purchases.
4Corners is an MLM (Multi Level Marketing) company that offers financial education through e-books and newsletters while offering you an opportunity to make a residual income through team building. Which means we are not in the business of recruiting people per se. We are in the business of referring people to buy books. So, the act of joining 4Corners is not a contribution to your uplines, but a process of buying 1st level books for your own education (just as you would on say Amazon.com). It just so happens that out of the $10 used for buying the 1st level books, your two uplines will get paid for referring you to buy the books in the first place.
The company has two products.
1. Financial literacy e-books
2. Monthly e-newsletter
Focusing on the financial e-books alone for now: This is a set of e-books divided into 6 levels. Each level has more advanced content and is (auto-)purchased at higher costs.
Product level 1 costs $10
Product level 2 costs $10
Product level 3 costs $25
Product level 4 costs $60
Product level 5 costs $150
Product level 6 costs $300
You may attain all these products with your own money. But you won't be in the affiliates program to earn commissions. Now that's where the team building comes in. By builing a team of people under you, you generate income that enables you to upgrade to higher level products while you also earn some extra income.
How?
When you join 4Corners you pay a one-time $18. No other costs will come from your pocket. $8 is a one-time enrollment fee. $10 purchases your level 1 product. Now you can start building your team.
When you bring in your first person, out of the $10 that he uses to purchase product level 1, you will be paid $4 in Instant Commission and your sponsor $4 as 100% Matching Commission. $2 goes to the company as profit.
The company has a "4 by 6 fixed/forced matrix". This means each level holds only a specific number of people.
Level 1 holds 4
Level 2 holds 16
Level 3 holds 64
Level 4 holds 256
Level 5 holds 1,024
Level 6 holds 4,096
For people in your row/level 1, you will be paid when people in that level purchase product level 1 for $10 (during joining). You will be paid a total of $4 x 4 = $16 in Instant Commissions. Your sponsor is also paid a total of $4 x 4 = $16 in Matching Commissions, and a total of $2 x 4 = $8 goes to the company as profit.
For people in your row/level 2, you will be paid when people in that level purchase product level 2 for $10. You will be paid a total of $4 x 16 = $64 in Instant Commissions. Your sponsor is also paid a total of $4 x 16 = $64, and a total of $2 x 16 = $32 goes to the company as profit.
For people in your row/level 3, you will be paid when people in that level purchase product level 3 for $25. You will be paid a total of $10 x 64 = $640. Your sponsor is also paid a total of $10 x 64 = $640, and a total of $5 x 64 = $320 goes to the company as profit.
That applies all the way to level 6 as summarised in the image below
